I’m a thoughtful County Commissioner and experienced leader with a straightforward, unwavering purpose: to represent “We The People” of Williamson County and District 1—not special interests or political insiders, but YOU, the residents I serve. As your current County Commissioner, I have fought to protect individual liberty, property rights, and personal freedoms—the very foundations America was built upon and the rights that too often go unrealized today. I remain fully committed to bringing transparency and accountability to the Commission while safeguarding what matters most to our citizens. With your support and your vote on May 5 - Election Day, I will continue these essential efforts to put the YOU first.

I strongly support managed, responsible growth that enhances our quality of life—without letting uncontrolled overgrowth erode Williamson County's rural character, open spaces, farmland, and infrastructure.
Our county's strength lies in its diverse landscapes: vibrant cities and towns alongside cherished rural areas, rolling pastures, working farms, and natural beauty. Yet rapid, unchecked development is already straining our roads, schools, traffic, public safety, and essential services—creating congestion and challenges that outpace solutions.
I’d like to see the County Commission have a true seat at the table to balance the development into rural areas and ensure the impact on our infrastructure is carefully considered in regard to its impact on the taxpayers pocketbooks and quality of life.
I am committed to:
Ensuring accountability in development so growth benefits all residents—not just special interests—and prevents fiscal and quality-of-life strains from unplanned expansion.

In 2020, the Williamson County Commission passed a new land-use plan limiting 1 house per 5 acres and reduced development in the rural unincorporated areas of the county to preserve as much of our beautiful rural landscape as possible. The next challenge we face is to work with the municipalities to limit their growth to inside their growth boundaries.
Lisa worked hard to keep the Burwood and Spring Hill communities in District 1 out of the Urban Growth Boundary. She also worked with Fernvale citizens to prevent a Retreat from being developed that would have had a devastating impact on the quaint and quiet valley. Lisa has continues to work to protect the rural areas by so-sponsoring and passing Resolution 2-26-20. Lisa also has testified at the TN State Capital in support of HB 2419.

The county government should manage the taxpayers like the families that live here. Williamson County is over $1 billion in debt, we must take measures to be more mindful in our spending. I have:

Our democracy lives and breathes through the faith in our election process. It's important for County Commissioners to work with our Election Commission to ensure they have the support they need to ensure our elections are secure. Continuous improvement of our election process to both minimize fraud and maintain the highest level of security is imperative.
